DPOR expects you know to be ethical, honest, trustworthy and legal.
So take a quick read:
1) You can not pay a referral fee to a friend to help you find a buyer or seller.
2) You can not “door knock” or try to convince a seller to switch to you. That is called going behind the sign.
3) You can not enter a house with a lock box unless you have followed the showing instructions in the MLS printout.
4) You can get a referral out of State by having our Principal Broker and their Principal Broker agree to the referral fee.
5) You must keep your Brokers informed of your ratified listings, contracts or representation agreements by uploading them in www.nat22.com under Case Processing Sheet.
6) On buyer contracts, the EMD check must be turned into National Realty within the time period in the contract. It will be put in Escrow and credited to the buyer at settlement. ( Make a copy of the check for yourself, the other agent, lender and settlement company).
7) Be diligent of all deadlines. Your client depends on you.
8) Fair Housing: You can not use terms like “no children” or “perfect for empty nesters.”
9) Do not give out legal advice. Call Paul or Keith if you have a problem.
10) Stay ethical and honest. If you don’t know something, email us.
