A Case processing sheet submission is required by DPOR rule on all ratified contracts. This keeps your Brokers informed. Even after you go to settlement, submit a case processing sheet so you can get paid.
On buyers, submit the buyer agreement.
On sellers, submit the listing agreement.
Both require Broker to sign.
Then you must return the ratified agreement to your client.
An agent one time from another company did not provide the ratified listing agreement back to the seller. At settlement the seller had his attorney who stated the seller did not owe the $23,000 in commission because he never received a ratified listing agreement back from the agent. The agent had to pay the commission. This is rare, but just keep it in mind.
