When your name appears “active” you are ready for Business Foundation building. This is not required, but very helpful for understanding the entire Real Estate business.
Office Orientation, Business & Financial Planning, The Settlement process
- Contact Keith to schedule Business Planning Session. keithhartke@gmail.com To prepare read “Planning for Business Planning” in Training Center
- Andy to schedule Finance Business Planning. (possibly right after Keith’s meeting).703-505-2999 or andy@andysikora.com
- Email photo for free business cards to Paulhartke22@gmail.com.
- Apply for NVAR membership: Sign up at nvar.com. Get lockbox at NVAR Herndon or Fairfax.
- Apply for Bright MLS membership: Apply brightmls.com
- Call office for contracts online with Zipforms.com and Office orientation.
- Schedule required NVAR Orientation classwithin 60 days. (REQUIRED) See the NVAR orientation class calendar and search for Orientation.
- Stitching Stationfor logo on your shirt. See card in your notebook.
- Go to Training Center in nat22.com and start your online Training.
- On Facebook , express excitement of having joined National Realty.

- Create your Real Estate website: Request free website on our contact page
- Order personalized signs: Suggested:* 2 name riders *4 Open directional *4 For Sale Directional * 4 generic directional. Click for info or ordering.
- Email signature line. Save in small italics above your name: If you know anyone looking to sell or buy Real Estate, please give me a call. I appreciate referrals.
Then your name with Realtor. ie Keith Hartke, Realtor - Edit your cell phone answering: “Hello you’ve reached Keith Hartke with National Realty, please leave me a message at the sound of the tone.”
- Announcement party: Invite everyone you know to party to celebrate your Real Estate career. ( Announcement Party ) Email all an invite, but call some too with tag line, “by the way, do you know anyone looking to sell or buy Real Estate?”
- Post Licensing: You have one year. Don’t wait until last minute. Go to VARealtySchool.com and complete it online.
