Did you know you can make a referral commission anywhere in the USA by just referring your client to a Realtor in the area of interest? One of our National Realty agents has a client and had the following questions in black. The answers are in red.
1) Is there referral training on Nat22? Yes, at the top of nat22 is a search bar. Type in ” Referral “
2) Is the referral agreement form in Remine ? No. It’s found in the search bar at the top of nat22.com. Type Referral. You want the out of State form unless it’s for a local Maryland or DC suburb.
3) What referral percentage should I charge ? 25% of total commission sent to National Realty at settlement.
And that percentage is further broken up with my split with National Realty? Yes.
4) What’s the best way to find an agent ? Go to realtor.com and at the top click “find Realtors“ Find one that looks good to you and call.
5) I guess I will contact the agent and email the filled out form to them ? Call the agent and ask if they would like a lead for a 25% referral fee? They will say yes. You reply “that’s good. I will email you all the information and tell my client to expect your call. I will also attach the referral agreement for your Broker to sign.” When you get it back signed by that Broker, be sure to get Paul to sign it. Then email that agent the ratified referral agreement
Tell your client you got them a good agent and to expect a call.
Throughout the process, keep in touch with your client and that agent on how it’s going. ( Sometimes they otherwise forget to pay the commission.)
