Success from the Start

In order to be at your best, follow the steps below and combine it with the checklists in your National Realty notebooks.

1) Become a Realtor, not just an agent
You need to get your license in order by finding it active in the DPOR website, paying E&O insurance, joining NVAR.com and brightmls.com. Without this you effectively are not able to represent clients as you can not show houses or get into the MLS
2) Build a strong foundation: Get headshots, business cards, edit your signature line in emails, change your cell and home phone answering devices, but hopefully you just answer the phone.   ( see notebook checklists for more)
3) Third- Learn
Go  into www.nat22.com and click Training in a Minute for categories to choose from.
4) Practice makes perfect
If you have never done a search and contract writing, set up a morning with Keith to come in, search properties and write a contract on one. Then Keith will edit with a red pen and you have your boiler plate.
5) Build your Business Plan which includes how you plan to find clients, list their home or show them property.
